What you can expect during nutrition counselling with me

What do you need to have available at your first appointment?
*Have any relevant documentation of previously diagnosed conditions to hand
*Have any recent (within last 6 months) bloodwork results to hand.
*Have a list of all medications you are taking available
*Have the doctors prescription (Ärztliche Notwendigkeitsbescheinigung) if you have one to hand
If you have been writing a food journal or tracked your food intake via an APP or in any other way, bring that along too!

Initial Appointment (€85)
Your initial 60 minute consultation is a thorough medical history as well as a general overview of your lifestyle and eating patterns. Once a nutritional diagnosis has been established, we will set goals together. Your energy needs will be calculated and the initial methods to address integrating the ground principles of good nutrition will be discussed. A method of recording your food and beverage intake will also be discussed.
A follow up appointment will be set.
You might want to check (within Germany) with your Health Insurance provider to see if you are eligible to have nutrition counselling costs or part thereof reimbursed.

Follow-up appointments (€65)
At the follow-up appointment, your eating patterns and energy intake will be analysed. We will establish together what changes need to be made and create an individualised eating plan. We will discuss a strategy to implement these changes so you can begin the process of improving your health and wellbeing.
Again a follow-up appointment will be set as long as they are needed.
At each follow-up appointment, we assess your progress; what new habits are being established, where is support still needed and will discuss strategies that support the desired changes for the future.
